New Partial – Instructions

*****Very Important****
Before you ship your impressions and denture back you must take a picture of it and send it to contact@denturerescue.com or text it to 614-964-2364 so we can approve that it was done correctly. This will save extra time shipping additional kits.

Prepare:

  1. Watch the video below and read these instructions
  2. Wash your hands

Part 1:

  1. If the partial is not broken please place it in your mouth. If you have a bottom denture or partial make sure it is also in your mouth to help when you need to bite down. If the partial is broken but you can attempt to put it in your mouth, please do so. Otherwise continue without the partial in your mouth.
  2. Find the trays that fit your mouth. Note your teeth should fit without touching the sides of the tray.
  3. IMPORTANT: USE ONE COLOR VIAL AND ONE WHITE VIAL FOR YOUR IMPRESSIONS. Mix thoroughly until the colors are fully mixed.
  4. You must PUSH the tray until it stops. While you are holding the tray push down on your lips and face to help mold the edges of your impression.
  5. Wait at least 4 minutes for it to become very firm.
  6. Do not remove the impression material from the tray.
  7. Inspect the impression. If it doesn’t look like a clear outline take another one. You have enough material to take several impressions.

Part 2:

  1. Now remove the Partial and repeat steps 1-5. If the partial was broken and not in your mouth, continue to Part 3.

Part 3: Opposing/Opposite

  1. Now using the trays take an impression of the opposite (for example if you did the above instructions for the UPPER, you’ll take an impression of the LOWER using a tray or vice versa).
  2. If you also have a denture or partial, be sure to leave it in your mouth. Find the tray that fits and take the impression. You must PUSH the tray until it stops. While you are holding the tray push down on your lips and face to help mold the edges of your impression. Then wait at least 4 minutes for it to become very firm.
  3. Do not remove the impression material from the tray.
  4. Inspect the impression. If it doesn’t look like a clear outline take another one. You have enough material to take several impressions.

Part 4:
